Intro of "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord
thy God in vain.":
I was literally bald and naked at a gala. The waitstaff was still
serving when I arrived in the room. On the table was spread a
pristine white tablecloth with delicate lace on the corner and
some bronze candlesticks that held unscented lit candles. The
male guests, dressed in suits with slicked-back hair and an air of
suspicion, were eyeing each other and making pretentious
gestures. Women were wearing hair spray. Everything was a
paradox of beauty and ugliness, just like the candlesticks. I barged
in naked and shouted because I wanted their attention. "My God,
what a spectacle!" they all agreed. I waited for the Lord's response
(out of courtesy), but He remained silent, so I continued.
“It’s my turn to kindly welcome you all to my boss’s birthday
party!”}...

....{“Unconventional things like that must happen in life, to make it
a little more interesting.”, said Valentina playfully again.
The kid got up from the railing. An autumnal, hazy cloud was
starting to cover the sky.
“Perhaps they should, but I think I’m not used to them.”, said
Nikos, as if he was ashamed. “Did you check the cash register?”
Valentina’s mood darkened, she felt Nikos's gray, stodgy aura
taking over hers. She stroked his hair.
“You think way too much.”, said as she walked away.
Nikos had his gaze fixed on her back. He approached her and
placed his hand on her waist. Valentina turned around and
looked him frozen in the eyes. "Now is the time.", she thought.
And that's when they started kissing lustfully. Their bodies
touched abruptly, came together as if trying to become one, with
their kiss flooding them with erratic, almost paranoid
intoxication. Outside, gusts of wind carried clouds now and then,
masking the sun’s rays. Cars were passing by; pedestrians, that’d
been once glancing at the shop, were now in a hurry,
overlooking, as if they knew what was happening. A fire truck
passed by like greased lightning and left its siren echoing behind.
It made them stop. Electric ambience and tension still lingered in
the room. }....
